Hi from France, i’ve come across you site and i’ve been amazed by the quality of your Simple Minds tracks. Especially “see the light” wich is one of my favourite songs. It’s like as if i was listening to the real orchestral version… I’m also a SM fan, i use to play in a band in france (20 years ago), we played some covers.. Nowdays i’m more jazz oriented, but last year i did a version of “let it all come down” for my girlfriend, so i send you the file on yousendit, as a response to your “Simple Minds covers call”. Hope you’ll like it. I have also a “someone somewhere” version, if you like to hear it too. Keep on your wonderful musical work.. I will surely put a voice on you “see the light”, just to make me think i’m jim for a few minutes…

Hi everyone, can’t wait until Edinburgh, shame it’s not getting filmed though. Anyway, I have 2 questions.
I’m going to be buying a new guitar and obviously I want one that looks like one of Charlie’s! I know it’s stupid but that’s just me!! So, I thought about the Epiphone Les Paul but i’m not sure. I know they weigh a ton too. I’m looking for something in the £400-500 range. What do you reccomend? Also, if you could send me a list of some of Charlie’s guitars that would be much appreciated.
Also, I heard that some SM tabs were circulating on the net. They’ve not been published on any guitar site but a girl called Anna mentioned she had them on the SM forum a while back but nothing’s ever come to light. Just wondered if you knew anything about it? If not what do you think my best bet is of finding out how to play SM songs on guitar.
